Can mundane things be inspiring? I don’t know. Am I human like you? Most definitely. Today I’m giving you a quick peek into my PMDD mom life.

Looking out on the morning rain… I used to feel so uninspired

Time to drop off the little one at school. With this outlook, I was seriously contemplating going back to bed instead of getting to work.

Breakfast time. Still working on my 24 boxes of muesli from my advent calendar.

Working from a comfy spot today. First I had to work out the kinks in my shoulders.

Staying cozy under blankets while re-designing the self-care plan for you. Also, note my face when I was realizing how to make the self-care plan even better.

What if I would send moms a self-care checklist to go along with this? I think this would make PMDD mom life so much easier.

Checking in on my plans. Did not get done what I planned, but at least I did the things I was inspired to do.

My task tracker. Lots of people prefer apps, but I prefer my to-do’s all in one place, so I have figured out a bullet journal version of a kanban board. And yes, my own notes are all over the place: Dutch, English, sometimes German. Pains of being an expat for too long.

Further working was swarted by our cat, Bonus, wanting all the cuddles.

Fine with me. The kiddo was chilling next to me, playing Minecraft and the weather wasn’t too enticing to go out. This is also what PMDD mom life is: figuring out how much energy you have to spend and to go with that (guilt-free!)

At least I had a bag of clothes to sort through. I’m part of a clothing loop and regularly get a bag full of secondhand clothes. I found a really cute little black dress! I can see myself speaking somewhere on a stage in this, can you?

Well, I made it to 11 pictures before dinner! I guess that leaves only 1 photo:
